Topic: Wellbeing-Focused Leadership
Employees bring past experiences to the workplace that shape how they perform in the present. Being “wellbeing focused” does not require leaders to resolve an employee’s current adversity or crisis, or repair what has already happened in their lives. Instead, leaders are called to be intentional about how they respond in the present and create systems and support to provide employees the best opportunity to perform. We will explore how we see stress manifest with employees and what strategies we use to develop a workplace where employees thrive, without taking on the responsibility of everyone’s “wellbeing”.
