Dry Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable Dry Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by cleaning clothing and garments according to company standards. As a Dry Cleaner, the candidate must be dependable, have a keen eye for detail, mechanically inclined, be able to work independently, and have outstanding communication skills.
 

Responsibilities

• Inspect garments for stains and damage before cleaning.
• Categorize garments into proper cleaning method based on care labels.
• Operate dry cleaning and wet cleaning machinery.
• Use specialized cleaning equipment and products in a safe and effective manner.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Maintain dry cleaning equipment with daily, weekly and monthly maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Keep up to date with trends and developments in the dry cleaning industry.

Requirements

• Experience in a Dry Cleaners or in a related role is preferred
• Knowledge of different types of fabrics and their cleaning requirements
• Familiarity with dry cleaning equipment and products is preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy garments
• Perform basic mechanical tasks for equipment maintenance.

Shift: 5am start time until finished (1pm-3pm) (depends on work load and season), overtime is required.

Pay: $26.00/hr
