About Us

The Creative Education Foundation (CEF) is a nonprofit, Creative Problem Solving and creative leadership professional development training organization established in Buffalo in 1954. CEF's signature event is the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI), a five day, international deliberate creativity training conference. CPSI returns to Buffalo each year to train individuals and teams from across industries and sectors in its signature professional development process, Creative Problem Solving (CPS) as well as other management and leadership systems. CEF also runs the Parnes Fellowship Program with Catholic Charities of Buffalo, Journey's End, and Jericho Road. CEF is available to provide both virtual and live personal and professional development training throughout the year. In addition to these projects, CEF publishes the Journal of Creative Behavior, the longest-running academic journal in creativity in the world. CEF also presents the Ruth B. Noller Grant for creativity research, and runs the Florida Creativity Conference (FLCC). CEF is a nonprofit organization that actively seeks partnerships and sponsors with Buffalo organizations.
