AMHERST CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WELCOMES BACK THE EVENT 2021

The Amherst Chamber of Commerce to celebrate FIVE Businesses and a woman of distinction that excelled through the pandemic.


CLARENCE, NY – Amherst Chamber of Commerce President/CEO A.J. Baynes joins Chamber members and local leaders MONDAY, OCTOBER 25TH at SALVATORE’S ITALIAN GARDEN 6461 TRANSIT ROAD DEPEW, NY 14043 to recognize several business award winners starting at 5:30pm, awards presented at 6:15PM.
 
“After our “pause” in 2020, it is exciting to be back in person for our biggest event of the year,” says Baynes. “We are thrilled to honor several businesses that have fought tirelessly through the pandemic to stay in business and kept fighting to ensure the prosperity of our region along with honoring a very special Woman of Distinction.”
 
Award Recipients include the following:
 

  • Business of the Year: M&T Bank
  • Commitment to Excellence: NOCO
  • Community Revitalization: Viridi Parente, Jon M. Williams
  • Family-Owned Business Award: Rodriguez Construction
  • Hospitality: Osteria 166, Nick and Kendra Pitillo
  • Woman of Distinction: Anne Constantino, Horizon Corporations
 
Starting at 5:30pm, there will be over 400 business and community leaders on hand present to honor our award winners as well as several elected officials.  

Elected officials confirmed to be on hand will be, New York State Senate Minority Leader Rob Ortt, New York State Senator Timothy Kennedy, New York State Senator Edward Rath III, New York State Assemblywoman Karen McMahon, City Councilmember Joel Feroleto, and members of the Erie County Legislature.
